White River Rotary Charitable Fund
The White River Rotary Charitable Fund (WRRCF) is a 501 C(3) organization accepting funds to be awarded to Hartford High School and Hartford Area Career and Technology Center students. There are separate applications for each of the schools.
The majority of funds donated to the Charitable Fund come from the White River Rotary Club.
A portion of the funds raised by the Club are donated to the Charitable Fund annually. In addition, the Club awards grants to community non-profits and government agencies.
The funds are earned by the fundraising efforts of the Rotary Club members and their volunteers. The fundraising projects include: The annual Polar Express train on the second weekend of December; the 10/100 Raffle and Cocktail Party the first week of May; and, the Silent Auction held in conjunction with the 10/100. There are occasional donations of private funds to the WRRCF.
